FAQ

1. What is TickerTerminal Launchpad?

TickerTerminal Launchpad is a decentralized token launchpad on the Hyperliquid network. It allows users to create, trade, and discover tickers that are powered by bonding curves. After graduation it tries to register them on HyperCore's spot order-book.

2. How do I launch a ticker?

To launch a ticker, connect your wallet and use the “Launch Ticker” interface. You’ll configure your ticker parameters (name, symbol). Once launched, your ticker is immediately tradable.

3. What is a bonding curve?

A bonding curve is a mathematical pricing mechanism where the token price increases as more tokens are purchased. This ensures price discovery, liquidity, and fair access — without relying on traditional liquidity pools or order books.

4. What network does TickerTerminal Launchpad use?

TickerTerminal Launchpad is built on the Hyperliquid network.

5. Do I need to hold any native tokens to use the platform?

Yes. You will need HYPE on HyperEVM to trade or create tickers. Ensure your wallet is funded and connected to the correct network.

6. Is TickerTerminal Launchpad safe?

TickerTerminal Launchpad is fully non-custodial. You maintain control of your wallet and funds at all times. However, always DYOR (Do Your Own Research) when interacting with any ticker.

7. I need help — how do I contact the team?

You can reach us at support@tickerterminal.app or follow us on X for updates

8. Are there any fees?

Yes. TickerTerminal Launchpad charges a flat 1% fee on all trades for tokens that have not yet graduated from their bonding curve phase.

Once a token graduates and becomes tradable on the Hyperliquid spot market, the platform takes 0 trading fees.

9. Are there any restrictions when launching a ticker?

Yes. When launching a token on TickerTerminal Launchpad the ticker must be HIP-1 compliant — meaning it adheres to the technical standard defined for token registration on the Hyperliquid network.

10. Is it guaranteed that a ticker will be deployed on Hyperliquid Spot after graduation?

No. Graduation to Hyperliquid Spot is not guaranteed.

If neither the original ticker nor the fallback ticker is available on spot, the token will graduate and remain tradable on HyperSwap instead.

11. How long can it take for a ticker to be deployed on HyperCore?

Deployment on HyperCore Spot is a multi-step process and may take some time.

At any given moment, only one ticker is actively bidding in the auction. Tickers enter the queue based on their graduation time — following a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) order.

Once a ticker successfully wins the auction, it is registered on HyperCore.

12. What is the process after a ticker is registered on HyperCore?

Once a ticker is successfully registered on HyperCore Spot, your token holdings on TickerTerminal are airdropped 1:1 to your wallet.

You can then continue trading the ticker directly on the HyperCore spot order-book, with full on-chain liquidity and market depth.
