Market Delisting Process
Markets can be delisted through a permissioned process that ensures users have adequate time to prepare.
Delisting Process
The delisting of a market follows a structured timeline to protect user interests:
1. Cooldown Period (5 Rounds)
When a market is scheduled for delisting, a mandatory cooldown period of 5 rounds begins. During this time:
Users are notified of the upcoming delisting
Trading remains active and available
Users can continue to participate normally in the market
2. Trading Suspension
After the 5-round cooldown period concludes:
Trading on the market is permanently disabled
Users can no longer place new bets or trades
The market enters a pending delisting state
3. Post-Delisting Claims
Even after a market has been delisted:
Users retain the ability to claim any unclaimed winnings from the market's past rounds
There is no time limit on claiming these winnings
All historical winnings remain accessible regardless of delisting status
